Både inser att utvecklingen i ekonomin och västvärlden inte gynnar flertalet. Ekis Ekman ställer relevanta frågor till den ansvariga. Istället för att bli upprörd och be bankerna att uppföra sig borde Anders Borg och Fredrik Reinfeldt förklara hur det kommer sig att löneandelen av BNP sjunkit sedan 80-talet. Något som förklarar både bankernas 200 miljarder i vinst och varför det går så dåligt för gemene man.
Kajsa Ekis Ekman sammanfattar Anders Borgs och Fredrik Reinfeldts gärning väldigt tydligt:
“Under din tid vid makten, Fredrik Reinfeldt, har andelen svenskar som riskerar att hamna i fattigdom ökat från 9,5 till 12 procent i hela befolkningen. Antalet lågutbildade som riskerar fattigdom har fördubblats. Andelen pensionärer som riskerar fattigdom har ökat från 10 till 15,5 procent. Bland utomeuropeiska invandrare är risken 45 procent. Grupp efter grupp är mer utsatt. Är man ung, pensionär, invandrare, lågutbildad, glesbygdsbo, småstadsbo, ensamstående förälder, familj med fler än tre barn, deltidsanställd eller arbetslös – då är risken större i dag än för fem år sedan att man ramlar över gränsen. Kanske kommer du att svara: dessa människor arbetar inte – vi står för en politik där det ska löna sig att arbeta. Men det stämmer inte. Även för gruppen anställda har risken för att hamna i fattigdom ökat under din tid vid makten”.
Varför har detta skett? Är det illvilja? Eller är det helt enkelt så att Borg och Reinfeldt är rädda för just det The Economist spekulerar i? Om finanssektorn gjort lyckats med samma sak som Mario Puzos karaktärer?
